Gebrüder Weiss: Markus Jelleschitz becomes Head of Corporate Sales
Lauterach, 25 October 2016. Markus Jelleschitz (39) is the new Head of Corporate Sales at Gebrüder Weiss.
In this role, the native of Lower Austria will be responsible for the further development of the global sales strategy and for managing certain key accounts of the international transport and logistics company.
"Gebrüder Weiss has about 150 locations worldwide," says Jelleschitz. "My team has the task of bundling this local know-how and providing our multinational customers worldwide with consistent solutions from a single source."
Markus Jelleschitz has been working for Gebrüder Weiss since 2004. After a number of posts in Controlling and Project Management, Jelleschitz took over as Branch Manager in Bratislava in 2007. Jelleschitz has been Country Manager of Gebrüder Weiss Slovakia since 2010. Under his leadership, the locations in Slovakia have shown a positive development, and not only in terms of turnover and earnings.
With his support, the transport and logistics company has also been able to strengthen its expertise in demanding sectors such as the high-tech industry. In his new role, Markus Jelleschitz will report directly to Management Board Member Heinz Senger-Weiss.
